Questions
Questions about fees
The things people ask before the first call, answered plainly.
001
Do I pay for the first call?
No. The first conversation with a partner is free and there is no obligation to go further.
002
How are fees set?
Most matters are quoted as a fixed fee in writing before we start. Where that is not possible we agree an hourly rate and a cap, and you see every invoice before it is due.
003
What does the guarantee mean?
If we start work without giving you a written quote, the first hour is free. It is a promise about our service, not about the outcome, which no lawyer can guarantee.
004
How long will it take?
Most commercial disputes settle within three to nine months. Court timetables run longer, and we say so at the start rather than later.
005
Will I get a junior?
No. The partner you meet runs the matter, supported by one associate. Nothing is passed down the line.
Ready to talk it through?
The first call is free and with a partner. Book it today.
